7th October, 2016
A team of dogs and handlers were invited to visit a primary school in Herefordshire today and demonstrate to reception class children, who are learning about dogs not just being pets. Some agility equipment was taken along and Club members were able to demonstrate obedience, tricks, agility, scenting, how to approach a dog etc. The children (and staff) enjoyed the session very much - and so did the Club members!
(see gallery for pictures - thanks to Adrian and Jackie Partridge)
Just for a change, the weather was pleasant and dry. The food was delicious (ok the pork was a bit cremated around the outside, but it was lovely inside!!). Games were enjoyed by young and old, and someone celebrated their 18th birthday (Frankie xx), so all in all an enjoyable evening.Added: Mon 08 August 2016 10:22
