15th and 16th June, 2019, Open agility show (Licenced by the Kennel Club and held under Kennel Club rules)
Held at Top Barn, Holt Heath, Worcester, WR6 6NH
It's time again to sort out camping for Club members who are helping at our annual show. For information to those new to the Club - there are lots of jobs to do, starting from the Wednesday before the show and over the weekend of the show.
Wed - Fri ... marking out rings and camping plots, putting out signs and black bags, sorting out the refreshment corner for us helpers, putting jump feet on the jumps, setting up A-frames and the ring tents, setting out equipment, booking in campers.
Sat-Sun - all sorts of jobs to help smooth running of the show, in the rings or the main tent - most people (obedience or agility background) can do most of the jobs. Sun eve - everything in reverse - packing up equipment on the showground and in the main tent.
On Friday, we all bring a small amount of food and have a shared tea. On Saturday and Sunday, breakfast and lunch are provided for helpers. All the time there is tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water and biscuits - sometimes even cake in the refreshments corner, where we can help ourselves!
Some helpers stay for a few days and free camping is provided (it must be booked), but if you can just come for a day or half day, you will be most welcome. The show is the main fund-raiser for all the disciplines of the Club and it's definitely a case of "many hands make light work". Please get in touch if you have any questions, or with offers of help - contact Angie on email@example.com or 07403 179155
The show schedule is now on the Resources page - lot's of great agility to see!Added: Fri 08 March 2019 19:57
